Exergame design

I would have a game called Work This Out! It would come from DDR, Eye Toy Play 2, and Wii Fit. It would teach you how to dance(DDR) and you would have a bunch of different choices of different types and styles of dancing(Eye Toy Play 2). It would help you exercise because of all the dancing you do and you would have to buy a kind of mat that you would dance on and that would tell you how many calories you've burned(Wii Fit). People my age would find it interesting because it teaches you how to dance actual dance like tango and stuff and not a lot of people know how to do that.

Exergame Idea

If i could design an exergame using ideas from 3 of the exergames I played today, I would call it Getting Fit with Ski Dancing. Basically, you would be dancing to different kinds of songs while you are on skis. You would also need to be centered and balanced while you are on skis or you would fall off. And there would be certain places on the Wii fit that you need to hit. I would take the skiing from the WeSki, the dancing from Dance Dance Revolution, and the balance from the Wii Fit game. You could also, maybe, use the Eye Toy camera to show you up on the screen so you are your own character. People my age, and any other age, would enjoy playing Getting Fit with Ski Dancing because you are your own character, you're exercising while dancing, and you would improve your posture and balance without knowing.

exergame design idea

My exergame will be a tank game. It will be called Shootaround and it will be a shoot 'em up tank exergame. It will use your feet to steer and aim your tank. These ideas com from We Ski and Wii Fit. your feet will be on a balance board like control. you wall lean your feet to turn and lean front and back to aim. The other idea will be a center of balance control. this will make it easier for different people to play. This will find their center of balance and orient directions for the tank based on this. People my age would want to play this because it is a shooting game and an exergame.

Exergames

My exergame that I would design is a game it would be a game that let you get physically stronger while you have fun and help you learn that working out doesn't always have to be a pain. I got the idea of a physically stronger game from mater national and the WII fit. The good thing about exergames is that you never have to go outside, so that means that if its raining or the temperature is way to hot outside, you are still able to get a descent workout while having fun. The game would be called BASKET BALLERS and would have all the professional players against each other. I would recommend my game to people all ages especially people that love basketball.

exergame design

I think that if I made an exergame, I would include running from Wii Fit, dancing from DDR, and skiing in Wii Ski. It would use the Wii Balance Board, and the Wii remote and Nunchuk. People would want to play it because it would have realistic graphics and realistic feel to the activities. People my age would want to play it because they always wonder about how they look, and this would help them get thinner (we are teenagers). People older than me would play it when their favorite games can't be played, and they need the exercise. I would call it, "Let's Wii-cise!"

Exergame design

I would design a cross between wii fit and we ski that made a wii snowboard game it would have a the balance of wii fit with the look of we ski(cartoony). People my age would want to play this game because it is extreme sports.

Exergame Proposal

The game I want to make shall be called "The Inferno: of Wolves and Wings". It's an adventure game, were you must pull apart objects, leap over cliffs, and control your power to change into an animal. You create your own character, and their personality alters the storyline. People my age would want to play it because it's so life-like. For example, to run faster, you would have to thrust the Wii remote down and pull back rapidly, repeating with the nunchuck. To force open a stone door, you put the wii remote and nunchuck side by side, then slowly pull them apart. Your character is a shape shifter; you decide between a dragon, fox, wolf, falcon, or a cobra.

Exertgame idea

The game that I am thinking of is a game where you are a spy that is getting chased by a man that does not like to exercise he is called a fighter. The reason that I choose to name him a fighters was because he fights the power of EXERCISING!! The objective is to exercise by running around the city doing missions. Such as a hundred meter dash and a "long jump."What I mean by a long jump is you have to jump from building to building. You also have to run in a circus. The things that you have to do in the circus is run from the lions. You also have to run on the high wire with out falling. Then th last mission In the circus is to run through the crowd will they are trying to trip you. Then you go out of the circus and you have to get things from Rome and Italy. The controller that I think is good for this game is a wii remote and a nun chuck. The thing that is going to make people want to play this game is because it gives you exercise and you can pretend that you are in Rome and Italy.

Exergame Proposal

My exergame is going to be a tank game. It is about a tank crew in Iraq. You will use a steering wheel and pedals to move your tank and exercise. It will be an exergame because the wheel is hard to move. The pedals are hard to move as well. I will make them exercise with isometric exercise and muscle flexes. What is going to make kids my age play it because they like to blow stuff up. Also I think that the setup for the missions is going to keep them playing. The levels will be constantly active. You will constantly be doing objectives. You will also have to maneuver through streets to get to objectives making it harder than usual. This will get them really exercised. You will also have to use strategy to defeat your enemies.

Exergame Proposal

My exergame is called Stretching! and it is about, well, stretching. There are two characters, one boy and one girl, and you have to go through a gym and complete different tasks for different people. My game is about stretching because people don't realize how important stretching is. Some tasks they might have to complete are showing someone how to stretch a tight muscle before a big game. People my age will want to play it because of the plot. It is about either a soccer player, Ericka, or a basketball player, Eric, who are trying to make their middle school team. They are just normal middle school kids.

Exergame Proposal

The exergame that I would like to design is a game about a person back in medieval times that has to protect his or her kingdom from the people that are at war with the city. The controllers are sensors that go on your arms, chest, and legs. These sensors detect movement such as if your running in place your character will be running in the game to get to a place in a certain amount of time or you would have to restart the level, you would also have to run from a battle if you are low on your health, if you swing your arm then your character will swing a sword or some other type of weapon to help defeat an attacking enemy. I would recommend this game for ages thirteen and up because lots of scenes are graphic and gory.

Exergame Proposal

The exergame that I am creating is called House Health because it uses household items to help you exercise and learn about healthy food and activities. It is similar to the Eye Toy, except that there is a different camera called the Healthy Camera for House Health, or HCFHH, and it allows anything within eight feet be involved in the game that you are playing. Also, there are only six games, but there are different levels for those games. There are also three categories that the games fit into: Chairs, Lights, and Fruits/Vegetables. You can play a game like musical chairs to a game where you are a ninja and you use your fruits, vegetables, and body to beat another secret ninja. If there is a tie you go into Tie Trivia where you answer questions about healthy activities and eating. House Health teaches you to eat and act healthy, as well as advising the player to not use as much electricity energy as usual. Kids my age will want to play House Health because you don't need any additional controllers, just your house hold items and your body. Also, they can play a fun and interactive game while learning to be . . . healthy!!! : )

interactive games

By the time we come back I want to have an interactive shooting game. I was thinking maybe a tank game. There would be powerups and items. I wanted to create it because I have seen games like this that were really popular. I hope to make the next one of those games.

Interactive Program

For my scratch homework, I am going to create a "how to draw" project. I am going to buy a scratch board, and I'm going to put some effects on it as well as a version for people without one. I'm going to put several sections on it such as eyes, 3/4 view (human), and characters. I want to create it because people ask me all the time, "how do you draw that?"

Interactive program

The interactive game that I am going to create is a game about shooting stuff to improve you aim. The game will have stick figures that appear in random spots that you need to hit before they hit you. I want to make it as realistic as I possibly can like when you shoot the car bullet holes will appear in the spots where you shot.

interactive programing

The game that I'm looking forward to making this summer is an interactive game. The concept I hope to have is like a medieval game like with knights and wizards. The reason that want to make this is because I love medieval games. The thing that I love about mid evil games Is the way that it feels when you are leading an army to victory.

Final Project

I am going to make an interactive project about how to kick a soccer ball hard. It actually is harder than it looks. You have to have a proper technique. I will make it interactive by letting you control how hard the sprite kicks the ball. I will use the control tools like the "when button pressed". I will use the if statements to make the sprite kick harder or softer. I want to do this project because I know how to kick a soccer ball hard.

final project

what i am briefly planning to do for my final project is gonna teach how to play one of my favorite games. its going to show how to count your life and attack points. i am also gonna have some interactive material in the game. for example they could go face to face with a sprite that i created that is like a character in the game AND GO ON A journey to find new cards. you could tell the treasure chest to open or make the ghost appear.

Final Project

The interactive program that I am going to build in Scratch for the Final Project is either going to teach spelling or multiplication. I will also use buttons to broadcast and have many different costumes for each sprite to change into. I want to create an interactive spelling or multiplication program because I have a younger brother who enjoys video games, but doesn't understand multiplication and he has trouble spelling. The user or viewer of the program will use buttons and sprites to figure out the answer or how to spell a certain word.

Character Sketches

Today we reviewed three different groups of sketches and they were all very good. I thought that the Scratchy group would be more appealing to younger kids (7-10)because it was more cartoonish than the others. I thought that the Sketchy group was the best. It was very detailed.

drawings

the drawings we saw today were fun because the developers made characters in a diffrent shape and way. my faviorate one was the the schetchy because it was most creaative and actiony. but all of them was good ecept the sratchy because to me they were dull and boring. they were plain and not as colerfull then the others. the sketchy was the most outstanding because they way they were drawn was really cool.

Character Drawings

The character drawings that I reviewed with the developers were all good sketches. I thought that the Scratch group was a bit too cartoonish and too sophisticated. Also, the Sketchy B group looked like they were the villains instead of the spies. The Angled group stood out because it reminded me of movies with the secret agents. Also, it was more boxy. The Sketchy group also stood out more because it was a bit more realistic and reminded me of movies where the spies are normal by day and supers spies by night!!!

Character sketches

I thought that the drawings that we saw today were cool because they all have a meaning. There was one picture that I could not take my eye off of, it was the monkey in the suit. Just something about it made me like it.  He was in a disguise and looked like a businessman. None of the other pictures stood out because they look like the agents that came out of other spy games and this guy looked like he was created like no other spy.

character reviews

Today we reviewed drawings for characters of an interactive learning game. We had a few styles of drawings and my favorite was sketchy. The others were just to cartoony. The cartoon drawings were more for little kids. Sketchy drawings give it a more actiony feel. It was more attractive to the eye to look at the sketchy drawings than the others.

Character drawings

Today we reviewed character drawings with the developers. They were really good! But the sketchy style drawings stood out most because the shading was mysterious and dark. The others were either too childish or too colorless. The sketchy style made the characters seem more serious, and that's what I look for in a game or show.

scetch,scratch,angled

what i thought of the drawings were that the colors were really dull and not so colorful. i also thought that the drawings are not something that somone would wear. the scetch a and b would be the one that will most likely to worn by someone.
i say this cause it looks similar to something i've seen in stores. but overall this is not something someone in middle school or elementary would wear. nothing was really sticking out to me.

Character animation

Today i reviewed character drawing for a spy game. I thought that they were really cool and really well done. Sketchy style stood out most because it looked most like it was out of a teenager cartoon instead of a little kid cartoon because the characters looked more adolescent than the others which is important to me because i am of that group. all of the others looked like they could have been in the same animation. they were all just too similar for me except for sketchy.

character review

The characters that we reviewed a bunch of characters, they where a mix of different characters such as monkeys and people and gorillas. I think that these characters where not different from the others. What I mean by the same was that all the people had the same looks, and all the monkeys had the same look. The ones that stood out where the rounded people and the rounded monkey. The reason that I think they stood out was because they where bright colors and big. My favorite picture was the sketchy and the reason that I think they where cool was because of the way that that they where drawn.

scratch training

I learned how to animate different characters and things. I also learned how to broadcast different commands. This is cool because it allows me to make more scripts with simple commands. I am now able to make animations and interactive games. I can now improve the projects of others.

Scratch

New and cool things I'm learning on Scratch are signals and bouncing. Signals are helpful in making an interactive project, while bouncing makes it so that the sprite will not fly off the page. I thought that signals were very helpful since I've always wanted to make a dress-up. Bouncing is something I won't use often, but I think it's cool. I think I'm doing way better than when I started.

scratch

Im glad i found a cool program like scratch because iv been looking for a program to make cartoons. I think its a little confusing butr i know once i get the hang of it i will be able to do things quick. I learned how you have to make up an order of things you cartoon has to do and its kind of complicated. I think is just alot like the program i used to program my robot. For the art part its also alot like paint.

Scratch

Scratch is teaching me stuff that is new to others but it is not new to me because I have been testing stuff out and finding something that triggers another thing to change such as a characters color or clothing or something.  It is good to know this stuff because it will help you when creating a game or an animation.

scratch

scratch: scratch was very new and very interesting to me because it was fun to make a mini animation it was also fun to expierament with the different combinations of effects. what was really difficult about the scratch program was it was that it was hard to draw a deasent to drawing. the icons that we used were icons that let change the look and what the character is about do you can also change and color the background. but overall the program was fun.

scratch

Today we worked on scratch and I really enjoyed it. I knew how to do some stuff already because I played around with it on my own ,but we learned more about how you can change the characters and backgrounds. Something that I liked is when we got to use the different buttons that let us change the characters appearance and the background to something else. This kind of showed us a little bit of animation. It was cool making our own sprite and then being able to animate it so that it could move around or say things.

Scratch so far

So far in scratch i have learned how to animate things independently how to create moving objects and objects that respond to the arrow keys and how to add buttons to the screen to create different costume changes. these skills will assist me when i begin t create my portion of the game after in the year.I have seen my skills blossom while working on scratch especially my computer art skills which include drawing and animating.

Scratch

what I did today was learn about this game animation program. What i likes really much was the ability to make the character talk and think because i wouldn't have liked the character to just move and walk. I say the ability to make every thing you want makes me worry because i think the game should have bounderys because a creater can post any thing he wants. what i want to learn more on scrath is to make a character more realistic.

learning how to use scratch

The thing that I liked about scratch was how you could use a bunch of different things on making a game and how you could use a bunch of different noises in the game. the thing that I hope to learn on Monday is who to use more sounds and more pictures. the thing that worries me is that i may for get to do something and it then will get all weird and not as many people will sign on to the game that I created. that is why I hope to test it before I post my game. that is what worries me about using the program scratch.

Scratch

Scratch is a fun, straight-forward game designing program. You can create your own characters and make them act weird, funny, ect. Some worries I have about Scratch, is that you have to tell it what to do and it takes time to see if what you do will work. On Monday I hope to learn how to be more sure about Scratch and what the other options do, as well as how to use them.

Learning Scratch

When we learned about Scratch it was really fun because I learned how to animate stuff. It was cool because you can actually make games. The fact that you have to tell the computer to do everything makes me worry about forgetting to do something. I hope that we learn how to record sound and put it in your animation.

Learning Scratch

Scratch is an entertaining program that lets you create a sprite and animate it with sounds, movements, even word bubbles. At first, It seemed very complex, but it was actually very accurate. What I found enjoyable, was the fact that it came with very weird sounds. What I worry about is if my parents will let me download it. And I hope I will get to make a more complex animation on Monday.

Scratch

Scratch was a pretty awesome program because you always knew what you were doing and it was really hard to mess up, and even when you did you knew exactly what to fix. The program was very detailed and easy to use. It worries me that as you get into more and more complicated programming for a more difficult game scratch would be hard to use because it may not have all the necessary tools. On Monday I hope to learn more about how to add sounds when certain actions are done.

scratch

Scratch was really cool. Everything was under my control. I could tell my sprite to do almost anything. I could tell it to jump, run, spin, or stop. What worries me is that it it was kinda complicated. What I hope to learn on Monday is how to make longer interactive animations. Eventually I want to make games.

SCRATCH that

I thought that scratch was really cool. i was able to do a lot of things with it, like tell our sprite exactly how to move where to move and we did not have to type out commandds tey were all right there.I am how ever worried that it will be to complicated later on down the road, but only time will tell.I am hoping that on monday we can learn how to make it interactive,

Scatch

What was cool about scratch was how you could customize your own characters to do what you want them to do. The worries that I have about it are that you have to test each thing over and over again. On Monday I hope to learn how to create our own game with our own characters to do the stuff that we want them to do.
